Mourners prayed, held candles and even sang as they tried to cope with tragedy.
Advocates for Family Peace representatives listed domestic violence statistics and gave more information about the issue.
Hildreth’s death marked the 26th domestic violence related death in Minnesota, this year according to Advocates for Family Peace.
Hildreth’s former boyfriend John Plevell is charged with 2nd degree murder in the case.
