St. Cloud Woman Charged with Murder in Father’s Death
The Stearns County Attorney’s office charged a 38-year-old woman with murder after her father was found dead Monday.
Lisa May Kearney was charged Wednesday with second-degree murder.
Police say she killed her father, Jeffrey Eugene Schilling.
Schilling’s body was found Monday in his St. Cloud home.
According to the criminal complaint, a neighbor called police because he saw Schilling lying on a couch with a blanket over his head and not moving.
When police arrived, they found blood near the man’s head and a maul propped up against a wall.
Kearney was located and arrested Tuesday in Louisville, Kentucky.
Police say she was found with her father’s wallet, keys and tablet.
Kearney has refused to waive extradition to Minnesota.
