If No Winner Wednesday, Powerball Will Climb to $2 Billion
If no one wins the Powerball Jackpot Wednesday night, the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing will soar to $2 billion.
The cash value of the drawing would be $1.24 billion.
Wednesday’s jackpot still sits at $1.5 billion, making it the largest lottery jackpot in the world.
Lottery officials say 85.8 percent of possible number combinations have been selected ahead of Wednesday’s drawing.
The $1.5 billion prize would be paid out in annual payments over 29 years or the winner could opt for a lump-sum payment of $930 million.
The odds of matching all six numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
