Mont Du Lac Prepares Ice Hill

Mont Du Lac ski resort is going under a transformation for the 2016 Riders Cup Finals.

180 athletes from 18 countries will take to the slopes and get laced up with ice skates for one blast down the mountain on a sheet of ice.

“Skiers and snowboarders love to watch and wonder how it’s possible, and when you stand at the top of that thing in your skates and look down, you wonder if it’s possible, too,” explained Mike O’Hara, manager at Mont Du Lac.

The “Red Bull Crashed Ice” is Feb. 19, 20.
There’s also a chance for kids to hit the ice hill and learn from the pros.
