Few Brave Cold at Bayfront Park
Ice Skating in the cold at Bayfront Park
Even though it’s cold outside, it wasn’t enough to keep some from braving the elements. Bayfront Park saw a few skaters who went to the park for campfires and hot chocolate. Some laced up for the first time while others tried to impress.
“I’m very very excited for my first time ice skating,” said Margaret from Duluth. “We had some friends that were going to go skating tonight and they chickened out because it was apparently too cold and too windy,” added Kristian Vastas.
Skating is free and open to the public each weekend. They only close if the wind chill gets to twenty below zero.
