Churchgoers Surprise Delivery Man With Big Tip
Some churchgoers in Superior took the message of generosity into their own hands Sunday with a random act of kindness.
Pastor Tom Miller, of The Central Assembly of God Church, had just concluded a sermon on the importance of generosity and decided to put the message into action.
Pastor Tom ordered a Jimmy John’s sandwich, and when the delivery driver, Eric, arrived, Pastor Tom, had the 20-year-old come on stage.
“We’re going to set Eric’s personal tip record here. This is not the offering, this just a tip for Eric. We are studying generosity. All I want from here is cash,” Pastor Tim told the audience.
In the end, churchgoers came up with a $317 tip for Eric.
His former record tip was $12.
