X-Games Champion Talks New Snowmobile Race
Red Bull Snow Boundaries Coming to Minnesota
A new snowmobile race is coming to Minnesota. Red Bull Snow Boundaries is the first snowmobile race of its kind.
It will involve many different snowmobile events in just one race.
Levi LaVallee, X-Games and Snocross Champion, talked about the new event on FOX Sunrise.
“If you’re competitive you can get out there and have fun, or if you just want to experience something special, this is the event for you,” LaVallee explained.
It will be an 8-mile closed loop course.
Within the course there will be a snocross track, wooded trails, and natural rolling terrain with huge drops and steep climbs.
“You have to think about incorporating all the different kinds of racing. So, you’re going to be out there going as fast as 60, 70 miles-per-hour and then all of a sudden you’re going to be jumping stuff, you’re going to be on ice, just all these different elements and I can’t wait to just go out and ride,” said LaVallee.
The race will be Saturday, February 20 at ERX Motor Park in Elk River, MN.
Registration is still open. Go to redbull.com/snowboundaries to find out more information and take part in the race.
