Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect
The Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they say robbed a hotel at gunpoint early Friday morning.
The Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Quality Inn at 30600 U.S. Highway 2, west of Ashland, just after midnight on reports of an armed robbery.
Police say a man walked into the motel lobby, pulled a gun and demanded money. Authorities say the gun was a small black semi-automatic handgun.
The suspect left the hotel with an unknown amount of cash.
The man is described as a white male, in his mid-to-late 20’s with a goatee. He was wearing a hooded black sweatshirt.
