Superior Wishing Tree
Welding Students and Phantom Galleries Grow a Wishing Tree
A wish to bring beauty to the community comes true in Superior. The wishing tree combines the talents of fifteen Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College-Superior students with Phantom Galleries for a public art display.
The community is invited to come and place their wishes on the tree while it is on display. “To see it come to life after a few months of planning is absolutely wonderful. It will be up for two months and people can come and tie their wishes to it anytime day or night,” said Alison Price of Phantom Galleries.
The tree is seven feet tall and will be downtown for two months for the next two months. The hope is that the tree will be on rotating display throughout Superior after being on displayed in downtown.
