Apple Fighting order to Unlock San Bernardino Shooter’s Phone

Apple says it will not help investigators break into the I-Phone of one of the San Bernardino shooters.

A judge in California ordered the company help the FBI get into Syed Farook’s Phone.

However, a letter signed by Apple CEO Tim Cook warns that complying with the order would entail building “a backdoor to the IPhone,” creating “something we consider too dangerous to create.”

The letter goes on to say “such a move would potentially render tens of millions of devices vulnerable.”

Investigators haven’t been able to gain access to Farook’s I-phone, as it is passcode protected.

Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik opened fire at the Inland Regional Center in December, killing 14 people and injuring 17 others.

The duo were killed in a shootout with police following a massive manhunt.

The phone was recovered in the aftermath of the shooting.
