Woman Injures Leg After Crashing Into Dump Truck
A 20-year-old Saginaw, Minnesota woman was sent to the hospital after crashing into a dump truck in Superior.
It happened after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of North 28th Street and Elmira Avenue.
Superior Police tell Fox 21 News the driver was travelling at a speed of 60 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone and didn’t stop at the stop sign.
Police say the driver also had a suspended license and wasn’t wearing a seat belt and plan to cite her for those four traffic violations.
She was hospitalized with a leg injury.
The dump truck driver was uninjured.
Dirt from the truck had to be cleaned up from the road.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
