Art Institute Looks At City’s Design Through Art

Discovering the visual design of the city has been the focus of the Duluth Art Institute.

Through six gatherings hosted around the city, groups have explored different designs, everything from art to beer and furniture.

The meeting was held at the American Indian Community Housing Organization where they looked at interior design and how Duluth feels like home.

“I think what’s really great is that the kind of celebration that’s going on with Duluth’s visual identity and the strength in Duluth right now,” said Duluth Art Institute director Anne Dugan.
