Chisholm Awarded $250K Grant from IRRRB
Chisholm has received a $250,000 grant from the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board.
The grant is part a $2.3 million dollar investment in Public Works stimulus projects in 15 northeastern Minnesota communities.
The money will be used to upgrade the Chisholm City Hall. The renovations include handicap accessible amenities and improved heating, cooling and electrical.
IRRRB Commissioner Mark Phillips has observed that investments such as these encourage job creation in the region, as well as directly address the needs of Minnesota communities.
