City, Neighbors Talk Arrowhead Road’s Future Development
People living along a portion of Arrowhead Road came out to talk Tuesday about the area’s future development option.
Duluth city planners were also there and say Arrowhead Road – from Rice Lake Road to Arlington Avenue – has changed a lot since 2006 when the city’s comprehensive plan was adopted for the area.
“Usually about 10 years an area has changed, there’s been some new things happening; some new dynamics, or new developments; or changes in a roadway; things like that that might impact the land use,” said Jenn Moses, a city planner for Duluth.
Some of the signs of development in the area include a new Walgreens and the Kenwood Village development, according to Moses.
