Bernie Sanders to be in Hibbing Friday
Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders will host a rally in Hibbing on Friday, just days before the Minnesota caucuses.
The event will be held in the auditorium at Hibbing High School.
Doors open at 7:30 on Friday morning to get into the rally.
Sander’s campaign says the democratic candidate will discuss a wide range of issues important to Minnesotans, including making college affordable, getting big money out of politics, and combating climate change.
The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but RSVP’s are strongly encouraged. Admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
For security reasons, officials are asking those who plan on attending to not bring bags, and limit what you have to small items like keys and cell phones.
Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banner on sticks will not be allowed through security.
The rally starts at 10:00 a.m. Friday.
The Minnesota Caucuses will take place on March 1.
