White House Lowers Flags for Nancy Reagan
President Barack Obama has ordered flags flown at half-staff in memory of former first-lady Nancy Reagan.
The White House released a proclamation Monday directing all federal buildings, embassies, military posts and navy vessels to lower flags to half-staff “as a mark of respect for Reagan.
Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on the day she is buried alongside her husband at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
Reagan died Sunday at her home in Los Angeles. She was 94.
