Olive Garden donates thousands to charity
Olive Garden has donated more than 34 million meals nationwide to charity.
In Duluth, the local Olive Garden has donated 89,000 pounds of food to an organization called Second Harvest.
The leftovers at the end of each day is given to the group and it has helped supply over 74,000 meals to those in need.
Mark Krzewinski, Culinary Manager of Olive Garden, said “I think the team members really enjoy doing something important by giving people food who are hungry and are facing hunger.”
