Students celebrate national pi day with medieval fun

The math and reading classes hosted a medieval math night full of stories, castle building in 3.14 minutes and face painting.

While the kids could count off all the ways they were having fun, they were learning at the same time.

“We just want them to know that math is everywhere and math is fun and it can be all ages and include family and pulling together,” said math interventionist Katie Dols.

Each student could also decorate their very own shield and crown in colors representing the never ending number.
