Furniture Company Makes Donation to Outdoor Non-Profits

Loll Designs Makes $60,000 Contribution

A Duluth-based furniture designer wants to keep the Zenith City’s outdoor-friendly reputation alive.

Loll Designs made a $60,000 contribution, spread equally, to three outdoor non-profit groups in the area.

Duluth Climbers Coalition, Duluth XC Ski Club, and Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores (COGGS), will receive $20,000 each.

Greg Benson, Loll Designs CEO, says his company is happy to contribute to groups that seek to improve Duluth as a whole.

“They benefit me, by getting it done,” Benson said. “It benefits the whole community, and makes it a better place to live.”

This contribution has become a yearly practice for Loll Designs.

So far since 2006 the company has contributed more than $362,000 in financial support for groups and organizations that improve access to the outdoors.
