Washout Shuts Down Washburn Road
A washout has shut down Washington Avenue in Washburn.
Washburn Police say the road is closed between 3rd Avenue East and Castle Drive.
Police say a significant washout has made travel unsafe.
Repairs are underway, however, due to weather conditions, it will be at least 24 hours until the crews will be confident that the repairs will hold.
Motorists can use 12th Street West to 5th Avenue West, to Hillside drive to get around safely.
