How To Help With Spring-Time Allergies
Mild Winter Could Mean More Pollen
The mild winter could mean grass and flowers are springing up a little early — along with allergy season.
Experts say people can take simple measures to make allergies a little more bearable, by doing things like avoiding opening the windows mid-day, or working out early in the morning or later in the evening when the pollen count is lower.
Dr. Robb Anderson, of Duluth Natural Medicine and Chiropractic, recommends homeopathic remedies for allergies over medication in order to avoid side effects.
“Chiropractic care done appropriately to the spinal column, enhances the immune system,” said Anderson, “So I can honestly help people with allergies by adjusting the neck and adjusting the mid back.”
