Now Boarding In The Iron Range
Those on the Iron Range are enjoying their new 19 million dollar terminal. The Range Regional Airport’s terminal is 21,000 square feet and is now treating travelers to both convenience and style.
According to Executive Director at Chisholm-Hibbing Airport Authority it was always a priority to be modern and remind people they are still in Northern Minnesota. The decor also includes two murals from Duluth artist Brian Olsen on walls.
Sitting areas have been remodeled and expanded ,and now can service up to 150 passengers. The airport has daily flights from Minneapolis.
“It gave us the accommodations to process customers and TSA, we added seating and jet bridge,” Germolus said.
The terminal’s construction wrapped up this past December increasing customer access significantly.
