Two Charged for Selling Meth in Grand Rapids

Two men have been charged with allegedly selling methamphetamine in Itasca County. 

28-year-old Keith Scovel, and 29-year-old Bryan King are charged with Aiding and Abetting First Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance. 

The charges stem from an ongoing drug investigation by the Minnesota BCA, Itasca County Sheriff’s Office, and the Grand rapids Police Department. 

Investigators say King and Scovel took part in two different sales of meth, totaling approximately 13 grams. 

Both suspects were arrested after authorities executed a search warrant on March 18 in Grand Rapids. 

Bail was set for Scovel at $200,000 without conditions, and $100,000 with conditions.  Bail for King was set at $100,000 without conditions, and $50,000 with.  

The conditions include drug and alcohol restrictions with random spot checks, participation in pre-trial drug testing, remain law abiding and make all future court appearances.
