Duo Charged after Police Discover Meth Lab in Ironwood
A man and a woman from Ironwood Township have been arrested and charged after authorities discovered an active meth lab.
41-year-old John Raymond Davis and 31-year-old Sara Anne Harris have each been charged with two felony counts of Operating/Maintaining a Laboratory involving Meth, two counts of Operating/Maintaining a Lab near a residence, and Conspiracy Operating/Maintaining a Laboratory.
If convicted, the duo could spend up to 20 years behind bars on each charge.
Bail for Harris and Davis was set at $100,000 each
The charges stem from an incident on March 17. The Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team executed a search warrant at a home on Sunset Road.
During the search, they discovered an active meth lab. The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team and the Ironwood Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted with the cleanup.
The incident is still under investigation. Authorities say more charges and arrests are possible.
