Archivist explains Minnesota’s connection to the Titanic
Those visiting the Duluth Public Library today got a fun history lesson.
A free program was held so people could learn more about the Titanic’s connections to Minnesota.
April 15th is the anniversary of the 1912 sinking of the ship.
Christopher Welter, an Archivist at the Minnesota Discovery Center, presented information to a large crowd about the three dozen Minnesota people who were passengers or had connections with the Titanic.
Welter will speak again at a library in West Duluth this Thursday at 6p.m.
