St. Louis River Interactive Exhibit Launches At Depot

The St. Louis River is on display at the Depot in the form of exhibits.
It’s called “One River, Many Stories.”

All week long there’s a photo exhibit telling stories of the river, and then there’s a map exhibit where you can actually write or draw your story of the St. Louis River and then pin it up on one of the maps.

“It might be a student who just came to Duluth for the first time and has an experience with the St. Louis River for the first time. It might be someone who has live on it their whole life,” said Ann Dugan, the director of the Duluth Art Institute.

The event is the kick off of a month-long community focus on the St. Louis River.

The Duluth Art Institute is behind the project and is encouraging the people to share their personal stories about the river on social media with the hashtag #OneRiverMN.
