Car Saved from Sliding down Embankment Behind Miller Hill Mall
A driver escaped safely after her car slid off the road into a ditch behind the Miller Hill Mall on Tuesday night.
The Duluth Police Department responded to the mall parking lot on reports of a car in the ditch around 4:46 p.m.
The caller, who was the driver of the vehicle, was afraid that the car would slide down an embankment into a creek.
A passerby stopped and hooked up a tow strap to the car and helped the driver get out of the vehicle.
A local tow company came to the location and lifted the car off of the rocks.
The driver, a 31-year-old female, was not injured.
