DEDA Approves Land Sale To WESCO

West-End Property Sold For $210,000

On the Duluth Economic Development Authority’s agenda Wednesday was the authorization of a land sale with WESCO.

The developer will pay $210,000 for the property and is planning to build a distribution center there.

The company has been looking at the land for around six months and has agreed to put no less than $1.6 million into the project.

Company officials say they are also planning to add six full-time positions to their staff in the next two years.
