Level III Sex Offender Relocates to Virginia
The Virginia Police Department is notifying the public of the release and relocation of a Level III sex offender.
34-year-old Eric Pegues has relocated to the Virginia, Minnesota area but is currently listed as “homeless.”
Pegues has a history of sexual contact with a 13-year-old female victim.
He gained access to his victim by approaching her in a public place, and used force and an accomplice to gain compliance. He was not known to his victim.
Pegues has served his time and is not currently wanted by police.
The Virginia Police Department is holding a public meeting to discuss Pegues’ relocation on Wednesday, April 13 at 6 p.m. at the Miner’s Memorial Building.
