Chemistry Magic Show

UMD students host chemistry magic show to inspire careers in science.

UMD students pulled out their magic wands for their annual chemistry magic show.

Through various experiments, the Chemistry Club displayed the power of science.

The students demonstrated explosive experiments and worked with color changes.

They hope to inspire more students to pursue a career in science.

“The best way to get someone interested in something is to show them just how amazing it is and I think it’s important because with the way our world is going, we are going towards technology. We’re going towards sciences and to say current with the future you need to be able to stay interested in that and just keep up,” said Cyrina Ostgaard, Chemistry Club Vice President.
