Hundreds Honored at United Way Luncheon
Hundreds of community-minded volunteers, businesses and organizations were honored for their services to the region on Wednesday.
It was all part of the Head of the Lakes United Way’s annual luncheon.
This is the first recognition luncheon since the United Way of Greater Duluth merged to include Superior-Douglas County, the North Shore, Greater Duluth and the Ashland and Bayfield area.
“So each one makes an individual difference. But as a collective we can have a stronger and greater impact and reach on our region,” said Michelle Hargave, with the Head of the Lakes United way.
The Head of the Lakes United Way is all about memorializing human and financial resources to address urgent needs in our communities.
