A proposed new dog park in Superior has many tails wagging.

The Superior Dog Park committee hosted a Yappy Hour at VIP Pizza to give the public more information about the project.

The new park is slated to be built at 28th and Wyoming and will encompass 1.8 acres.

“People want a dog park. The community wants a dog park and there’s a lot of support for it. Now we need that momentum to move forward and get the dog park. Dog owners want a dog park, let’s get them a dog park,” said committee member Stacie Buchanan.

A timeline for construction will be figured out once more funding is secured.
