U.S. Navy FA-18 Super Hornet Added to Duluth Airshow
The U.S. Navy F/A-18 “Super Hornet” will soar in to Duluth for the 2016 Airshow.
The last time the aircraft flew in the Duluth Airshow was back in 2010 with the United States Air Force Thunderbirds.
The Super Hornet will join the Thunderbirds once again for this year’s show.
The Boeing F/A-18 is the primary attack aircraft of the United States Navy and is a carrier based aircraft.
The aircraft also has a rotary cannon and can carry air-to-air missiles and air-to-surface weapons.
This year’s airshow will is expected to be the largest to date.
