Wildwoods Holds Annual Fundraiser For Wildlife Rehab
Wildwoods Wildlife Rehabilitation Center held its third annual fundraiser Sunday at Clyde Iron Works.
The event featured live music, local food and our very own Dan Hanger, who emcee’d the event for the third year in a row.
Wildwoods shared photos and stories of the many wildlife rescues that occurred over the last year.
A silent auction and raffle were held for a wildlife quilt made by Mctavish Quilting Studio.
Tara Smith, a worker at Wildwoods, said, “This is definitely blown the other ones out of the water. People know who we are now and we are just very passionate about what we do and so are the people who support us.”
Wildwoods is a non-profit organization and they serve as a resource for people who find orphaned, sick or injured animals. They take in over 1,000 animals each year.
