Duluth Woman Arrested on Drug Charges
A Duluth woman has been arrested and charged after police raided a home and found heroin, meth and marijuana inside.
The Duluth Police Department, along with the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in the 1500 block of East Street on April 27.
During their search, they recovered 5.8 grams of heroin, .3 grams of meth, 44.5 grams of marijuana and other evidence of narcotics sales.
Police arrested 30-year-old Jamie Lynn Nyquist, of Duluth. Nyquist has been charged with Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and Third Degree Possession of Methamphetamine.
Nyquist was previously charged with Fifth Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, for which received a statutory stay of adjudication. She was discharged from probation in 2013, after successfully meeting the terms of the statutory stay.
