Students and community members celebrate Demolition Day
Demolition Day kicked off the start of three massive renovation projects estimated at roughly $3 million.
The projects include teaching laboratory renovations, faculty office infrastructure and new administrative offices.
One of the primary areas of focus is to create a collaborative mix between education and industry, to ensure employees entering the field have meaningful skills and training.
Brooke Camps, a student at WITC, said “The HVAC trade really isn’t known and I think it should be. There are so many job opportunities in our area.”
The nationally top ranked college, WITC, serves the career needs of more than 25,000 residents of northwestern Wisconsin each year.
