Chisholm Fire Department Relocates Temporarily

Fire Trucks And Gear At Chisholm High School's Bus Garage

The Chisholm fire department is working out of the Chisholm High school’s bus garage temporarily. The department moved out of their building upon finding a hole that could pose major safety risks.

Chisholm’s historic fire department building is emptier than usual, since all of the department’s vehicles and most of their gear has been moved to Chisholm High school’s bus garage.

The move happened after a hole, the size of a car tire, was found on the cement floor, that authorities believe was caused by wear and tear over the years.

The building was built in the early 1900’s and now that over a century has passed, an upgrade is past due.

Chisholm is looking for both a financial and physical Solution for the building, but for now, authorities are glad the fire trucks and equipment have a roof over them,
