City Of Duluth Holds Free Ultimate Frisbee Program
The city of Duluth’s Parks and Rec. division is partnering with the Heritage Sports Center, the UMD Lake Effect, and Northern Lights Ultimate Teams to keep kids active.
Volunteers are teaching kids in the area how to play Ultimate Frisbee.
The program runs from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. every Sunday through the beginning of June and includes instructions on how to play the sport, as well as formal games.
“Ultimate Frisbee is a very active sport. There’s a lot of running, a lot of fun skills, it’s just a fun game to play,” said Eete Willemsen, a volunteer.
It’s free to join.
