HUD Provides ADA Training For Housing Program Providers

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development taught the session

Tuesday representatives from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development came to Duluth from Minneapolis.

They provided a training session for sub–grantees on big picture issues like the Civil Rights Protections in Housing and the Fair Housing Complaint Process.

The goal being to have people walk away with a couple different messages from the course.

“Duluth is an inclusive city, that we are trying to make sure our programs are accessible to persons of all background,” said Community Planning Manager, Adam Fulton.

The city of Duluth provides funding through the Home Investment Partnership program, Emergency Solutions Grant and Community Development Block Grant.
