Duluth Color Guard Honors WWII Veteran
Arnie Bredow Ceremony At Keystone Bluffs
A ceremony at Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living Facility paid respects to all veterans, but highlighted the work WWII veteran Arnie Bredow has done locally since serving.
Bredow has done everything from helping arrange military funerals to decorating the center’s lawn with American flags.
Arnie was one of the first residents at Keystone Bluffs, and has lived their for more than 16 years. Even at the age of 97, he’s not slowing down.
“And he says he’s going to make it to 100 and then he’s going to have a big party, isn’t that right Arnie?”
Bredow replies, “Right.”
Arnie joined the army at the age of 21, and served in World War II from 1941 to 1945.
