Duluth Youth Ranch Damaged By Storms

The Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch in Duluth is still dealing with the aftermath of early July storms that caused a lot of damage across the Northland.

The local nonprofit saw more than 70 trees fall down throughout the property.

Volunteers stepped up Wednesday to help clear a trail course that was hit hard by the storm.

“We can’t do it ourselves. The volunteers out in the community are huge for us, and it’s a great blessing to have people come in and say ‘what can I do.’ It’s amazing,” said Wendy Krook, with the Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch.

The ranch needs to get the trail course cleaned up before a fundraiser that is set to take place July 30th.

Volunteers are needed this Saturday for continued cleanup.
