Strider Bike Camp Returns For Third Year
Strider Camp Back On CSS Campus
It’s no question that biking is a popular way to get around here in the Norhtland, but it’s also an option many of us take for granted. Today the Strider Bike Camp kicked off at the college of St. Scholastica.
It’s a physical therapy camp that uses pedal–less balance bikes to help children with disabilities gain an understanding about bike riding fundamentals.
Samantha Mohn- Johnson, the camp’s leader says, “We’ve had really good feedback, people are excited about it and they feel like their children are really learning to love to bike and learning to love the activity.”
The camp is now in it’s third year and this year partnered with Essentia Health to provide helmets to the youngsters involved. The camp will continue to run June 13th, 16th and 20th.
