Treats Offered to Storm Clean Up Crews

Superior Choice Credit Union offers up water and tasty snacks

The storms that whipped through the Northland may be gone and the power back on but the thank yous from community members are still pouring in.

Superior Choice Credit Union is one of the company’s stepping up to lend a helping hand to the workers who have put in 16–hour shifts to get our lives back in order.

The Superior Choice Credit Union gave away all types of healthy treats and water to 100 city of Duluth crews who have been working tirelessly to clear the area of storm damage.

Credit union employees started in Duluth and then went up to Hermantown where they gave the workers their gift and said a thank you.

Brittany Berrens Markgren, the Marketing Manager, said “It’s important for us to say thank you because it directly affected us and also because it is part of us being good community members and good stewards of the community.”

Workers are still picking up piles of storm damaged tree debris but for now they enjoy a treat and a thank you from the community.
