Northland Veteran Chosen as KISS Roadie

Woman Receives VIP Access to KISS Concert from Friend

The weather wasn’t the only thing heating up across the Northland on Wednesday.

One Duluthian Veteran is having the time of her life, all thanks to KISS, and a good friend.

Andrea Carrothers with the Fatal Search Recovery Team, found out a few days ago that she was chosen for an experience of a lifetime.

She spent the day working alongside the roadie crew for KISS.

“Being here and working with these guys and getting to experience this is you know, second to none, I’ll never forget this experience,” Carrothers said.

Originally, her friend was entered in to win this position, but she quickly realized how excited Andrea was about the opportunity, and gave her the VIP badge.

It’s all part of the Hiring Our Hero’s Program, part of KISS’ 2016 Summer Freedom to Rock Tour.

Carrothers says, “Honestly the most exciting part is really going to get to meet and kind of talk with the band, get some autographs, some pictures, going up on stage with them tonight is going to be epic!”

Andrea says she doesn’t really have a favorite band member, because it takes the whole team to make KISS who they really are.

The concert kicked off Wednesday night at 7:30p.m.
