KISS Honors Local Veterans at Concert
At their concert at Amsoil, KISS honored local veterans and had them take the stage.
While they rocked and rolled all night and partied all day, rock band KISS took some time to thank some local veterans.
During their encore of their concert at Amsoil Arena in Duluth, KISS brought members of the Duluth Color Guard on stage.
The band recognized members of the West Duluth American Legion Post 71 and active military before saying the pledge of allegiance.
“They really did appreciate that, it is nice to know that they really do care about what we do and supporting our cause,” said John Marshall of the Duluth Color Guard.
The band made a donation of $150,000 to the Hiring for Heroes fund before playing the Star Spangled Banner.
The money will go towards helping veterans find jobs in the civilian world.
