Multiple Individuals Arrested on Drug Charges
Twin Ports and Fon du Lac Reservation arrests on distributing controlled substances
On Tuesday, August 2, investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force with assistance of the Duluth Police Department, St. Louis Sheriff’s office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, Superior Police Department, Cloquet Police Department, and the Fond Du Lac Police Department arrested multiple individuals for distributing controlled substances.
The distribution of controlled substances included heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana.
Alejandro Fragoso, 46, from California was arrested on teh Fond Du Lac Reservation and charged Friday August 5, in Carlton County District Court with two counts of possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and introducing contraband into a jail, lockup, or prison.
Karrie Robinson, 44, of Duluth and Michelle Sobczyk, 47, of Superior were arrested in Superior and charged today in Douglas County District Court with possession with the intent to deliver heroin, possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine and possession with the intent to deliver marijuana.
Michael Sampson, 24, of Duluth was arrested at a residence in the area of 28th Avenue West and Superior Street. Sampson was charged today in St. Louis county District Court with second degree sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree. He has four convictions in the last five years for controlled substance crimes in St. Louis County.
