Tourism Tax Revenue Looking Up For Duluth
There is good news for Duluth’s tourism tax revenue.
The numbers are up so far this year, according to city data.
June’s report, which was just compiled and released Wednesday, is showing roughly $945,000 collected from hotel-motel, food and beverage taxes.
That tax collection is up 3.3 percent from June of 2015.
Furthermore, year-to-date for 2016, the city has collected $4,153,000 in tourism tax dollars, which is up 6.5 percent from this time in 2015.
