Farmers’ Almanac Predicts Bitterly Cold Winter
Almanac predicts cold winter with lots of snow. Many in the Northland are enjoying summer while it lasts.
In the midst of summer, it might be hard to think of bitterly cold temperatures and winter.
According to the Farmers’ Almanac, many in the Northland will be facing a very cold and snowy winter.
With that news, many are enjoying the last few weeks of summer.
“It definitely is going to make me come outside more. I got to get it in for the days I won’t be able to swim,” said Jesse Walters.
However, some are looking forward to the cold.
“Yes because this will be my 20th year of the American Birkebeiner ski races and I ski the quarter loop race and I’m pretty excited if we get a lot of snow. We need a lot of snow,” said Allison Snopek Barta.
The Almanac claims to have an 80% accuracy rate.
They base their forecast on tides, sunspots and other factors.
