The New Fleet Farm is Expected to Employ Hundreds

The new Fleet Farm in Hermantown is expected to bring around 200 jobs to the region.

Construction of the new Fleet Farm began last summer and the new 4½–acre store opened early this morning.

The $18 million project has an auto service department, a lumber yard, a gas station with 16 pumps and a three bay car wash.

Employees have been hired, shelves are stocked and the store is now open for business.

Paul Erickson, the Fleet Farm Store Manager, said “You can see that the community has responded to our new business so its been a fantastic opportunity.”

Fleet Farm prides itself on being a so called one stop shop for all of its customers.

This morning, hundreds of people were waiting in the parking lot to get inside the store right as the doors opened at 7 a.m.
