Duluth On Track For Record Tourism Revenue

July 2016 Surpasses 2015

If you look at the tourism tax dollars coming into Duluth, the city is on fire.

Officials say this year is on track to be an all-time record for generated hotel, motel, food and beverage taxes.

In the latest report just issued for July, tourism tax dollars added up to $1,239,052, which is 4.6 percent higher than July of 2015, according to city data.

When you look at the year-to-date totals, the city of Duluth has taken in $6,141,070, which is 6.1 percent more than 2015’s year-to-date total in July.
